The Hispanic MarketAccording to Census 2000, Hispanics are the fastest growing minority in the U.S. with 38.8 million people and a buying power of nearly $700 billion. The Hispanic population in the U.S. grew 98% between 2000 and 2002, and now accounts for 13.2% of the total U.S. population. Hispanic purchasing power grew 158% over the last ten years, and continues to grow.
